Tiger Woods’ Restaurant Opening Day, Doors Open At 5 P.M.

Today is the day! Tiger Woods’ new restaurant, Woods Jupiter, opens tonight at 5 p.m., and fans and Jupiter, Florida locals are eager to get a look. Questions ranging from “what’s on the menu” to “will Tiger’s ex Lindsey Vonn attend the opening” abound.

As reported in the Inquisitr, Tiger Woods, a resident of Jupiter, Florida, envisions the restaurant as a fine dining establishment where you can also catch a game on television.

“I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal,” Woods said in a statement. “I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community.”

But is it possible for even Tiger Woods to combine fine dining with a sports bar atmosphere? The Inquisitr has it’s doubts.

“Tiger Woods is a resident of Jupiter, Florida, and perhaps he likes to have a $50 steak while watching basketball, but I believe that most like a few beers and pub fare while catching a game at a bar. For most patrons, $80 per person to dine in a sports bar cannot be a regular thing. The menu has been kept secret, but I fear that the food photographed will seem a bit fussy for those craving Buffalo wings.”

Gossip Extra is reporting that, as of Sunday night, cardboard was still covering the windows of the restaurant, but there is lots of movement.

“At first sight, the winner of four Masters appears to have re-created a Miami Beach-style atmosphere in a place smack dab in suburban Jupiter.”

As for the menu, though it hasn’t been unveiled, Gossip Extra believes it’s a “steak-and-fine-fish sort of a place with an extensive wine list.”

Gossip Extra also couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a jab at Tiger Woods’ cheating past.

“The restaurant also features three booths complete with curtains to guarantee cheating guys, or celebs, complete privacy. The dozens of television might inhibit human interaction, but then Tiger was involved in the construction — and he’s a television fiend.”

Reps for Tiger Woods say they will open tonight for dinner, but the official web site still indicates that they are hiring for kitchen and front of the house staff.

Tiger Woods is also planning to move his international headquarters in the same downtown Jupiter location. Tiger Woods Design designs golf courses and sells merchandise with the Tiger Woods brand.
