Ariana Grande Buys Lunch For Her ‘Babies’ in Toronto After Fans Wait Hours To See Her

Ariana Grande is a good person, after all. The “Problem” singer bought lunch for her fans in Toronto on Sunday after they had waited hours outside of her hotel, Gossip Cop reports.

The singer tweeted two pictures of herself with a long table filled with fans. “Tea with my Toronto babies,” Grande tweeted. “U make me happy.”

According to Gossip Cop, another Twitter user, Granddaley, who was at the impromptu meet and greet, also tweeted pics of Arianna with fans.

“Ariana bought fans lunch at her hotel in Toronto today, how could you not love her.” Granddaley wrote.

A twitter user with the handle hmtjauregui also tweeted what happened when fans met Ariana. “She brought us into her hotel and bought us lunch and took selfies with everyone and talked to everyone.”

Ariana hasn’t had the best publicity when it comes to her relationship with her fans. In fact, for a singer who’s relatively new to the pop scene, she’s developed quite a reputation for being a diva.

Last year, she was rumoured to have said that she wished all of her fans would “f***ing die.” An insider told the New York Daily News that after an apearance at a New York radio station, Grande said the hateful words about fans who she’d just signed autographs for.

“She did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator” the industry insider said.

“And as soon as the doors shut she said, ‘I hope they all f***ing die.”‘

She also caused an uproar among her fans when she walked out of a meet and greet in Australia. Her reason for storming out? She didn’t like the way she was being photographed.

Her handlers reportedly told fans and photographers to only use natural light and to only shoot her on the right side of her face.

Not exactly the type of demands that will endear you to fans.

There were also reports that Grande’s camp instructed them not to ask questions about her canceled Nickleodedon show, her love life, and comparisons to Mariah Carey.

E’s Guiliana Rancic has also said that Grande was a difficult interview subject, according to a 2014 article in the Daily Mail.

The TV host said Ariana edged her out of the way so the camera would get her “good side.”

“I just felt like it’s one thing if it’s Mariah. Whatever it takes to get Mariah to do an interview,” Rancic said.

“But when you’re new on the block, when you’re trying to earn your stripes, you’re young, you just gotta do what you gotta do.”

Hopefully, for Grande’s sake, buying her Canadian fans lunch will help people forget her donut debacle last month. The singer was caught apparently licking donuts and saying “I hate Americans,” on camera.

Ariana apologized, but not before she faced a heap of backlash on social media. Let’s see if a free lunch will help fans and the general public to forgive her.
