Alessandra Ambrosio, Victoria’s Secret Model, Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Alessandra Ambrosio made headlines back in December when it was revealed that the model had been secretly pregnant during a Victoria’s Secret runway show that had been broadcasted across the world during the Christmas holidays.

The 31-year-old Brazilian stunner was only a few months pregnant at the time of the reveal, but the feat of strutting down the catwalk in spiky heels wearing heavy wings at a time many women are chronically napping or stuck praying to porcelain gods was pretty impressive.

When her baby secret was finally revealed after the big night, Ambrosio gushed to press:

“Family is the most important thing for me and I’m thrilled to be adding to the family… I’m fortunate to have a loving and supportive family. It’s a blessing that it will soon be growing.”

In her native Brazil, Alessandra Ambrosio gave an interview recounting how she’d told her husband that the family was with child again:

“It was on September 23, his birthday. I suspected as much, but I went to a drugstore and took the test. It was his gift. I gave a small card with a positive test within.”

In April, Ambrosio revealed that the baby-to-be, joining a 3-year-old daughter, was a boy. No official announcement has been made on behalf of Ambrosio or her family regarding the birth, but news has begun to leak out via the usual sources- namely Facebook.

Just over the weekend, Ambrosio posted pics to the social network from her Saturday shower, so it appears the baby’s arrival was cutting it a bit close. No vital stats on Alessandra Ambrosio’s baby have yet been made available.
