Alessandra Ambrosio Was Pregnant at Victoria’s Secret Runway Show

Another Victoria’s Secret Angel is expecting, and this time the mom-to-be modeled on the catwalk for the December show in while secretly pregnant.

Of course, at the two-month mark, you’d be hard pressed to detect a pregnancy even in the non-supermodel set. But it’s still impressive that Alessandra Ambrosio was able to strut around in sky-high heels carrying 30 lb. wings at the heavily-viewed runway pre-holiday extravaganza, escaping the notice of fans and viewers.

The 30-year-old supermodel and fiancé Jamie Mazur are already parents to a three-year-old girl, Anja, and Ambrosino is excited about the new addition to her family. She gushes to Us:

“Family is the most important thing for me and I’m thrilled to be adding to the family,” Ambrosio tells Us in an exclusive statement. “I’m fortunate to have a loving and supportive family. It’s a blessing that it will soon be growing.”

Ambrosio did an interview about the pregnancy in her native Brazil, and the gossip site Oh No They Didn’t! has a rough translation of her account of discovering the news and telling her boyfriend of five years, Mazur:

“It was on September 23, his birthday. I suspected as much, but I went to a drugstore and took the test. It was his gift. I gave a small card with a positive test within.”

Ambrosio said that Mazur is hoping for a boy this time, but their daughter is hopeful for one of each gender. The pair have not yet learned the baby’s sex, but plan to at a January sonogram.
