Could Scott Disick And Kourtney Kardashian Get Back Together For Ratings?

If you believe many media reports, Scott Disick would probably be thrilled to get back together with Kourtney Kardashian. Kourtney, on the other hand, might prefer to stay separated.

If Kourtney’s mother, Kris Jenner, has her way though, Kourtney and Scott will likely get back together. At least, that’s what Life & Style magazine is reporting a source told them.

“Scott is one of the key players on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. E! obviously cares about Kourtney’s feelings… But the truth is, Scott I better on screen that she is. They’d hate to lose their biggest ratings earner — especially when they has to contractually pay him anyway.”

The magazine reports that Scott Disick would love to get back together with his family, which includes three children with Kourtney: five-year-old Mason, three-year-old Penelope, and seven-month-old Reign.

Scott and Kourtney broke up earlier this summer after nearly a decade together when Scott was seen getting cozy in Europe with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli. Since, several news outlets reported that Scott was caught kissing a blonde woman in Las Vegas.

Classicalite also reported that Kris Jenner is insisting that Scott Disick and Kourtney make up, despite the fact that Kourtney would really rather not. Classicalite wrote,

“Word has it that Kourtney Kardashian is less than thrilled at the prospect, but her mother, Kris Jenner, is insisting that she reconcile with Scott Disick for the sake of Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ ratings. According to the latest gossip news updates, everyone at E! is afraid that the popular reality TV show will take a hit if the series loses its most exciting cast member.”

According to a Hollywood Life report, Scott Disick is the character who brings in ratings where Keeping Up With The Kardashians is concerned. For example, during season 9, the highest-rated episode was the one in which Scott freaked out after Kourtney revealed that she was pregnant with the couple’s third child. And in 2010, a drunken Scott episode brought in more than 2.5 million viewers, according to Hollywood Life.

In fact, Hollywood Life reports that keeping Scott on the show could be good for Kourtney as well, even if she doesn’t like the idea.

“Scott and Kourtney’s reconciliation may be awkward for them, but it’ll be well worth it for Kourtney, as their ‘reality contracts have escalators in them, meaning if she meets certain ratings numbers, she will get more money,'” Hollywood Life wrote.
