One hashtag growing in popularity on Twitter on Saturday, August 8, is #ChristianTaylor, with a variety of responses coming into the social media site about the 19-year-old, Christian Taylor. As reported by NBC News, the Angelo State University college football playing sophomore was shot to death by 49-year-old Brad Miller.
Cops received a call about a robbery at approximately 1 a.m. Friday morning and saw that a vehicle had been crashed through the front glass window of a Classic Buick GMC. According to police reports, cops moved towards Christian and some sort of melee followed. That’s when Taylor was shot and killed — and the fact that Christian was unarmed has folks wondering where the surveillance video is located and when it will be released to the public.
A search for Taylor’s surveillance video on YouTube doesn’t yet turn up any videos of the purported struggle or crash. Many businesses such as car dealerships would surely have security footage — therefore calls for any video footage will likely grow louder. Especially in light of the fact that Miller had only joined the police department last September, having graduated in March from the police academy.
Meanwhile, the so-titled “October 13th” Twitter account of Christian @he_got_sneaks is getting plenty of attention in the wake of his death. Ironically, Taylor wrote that he was “doing it for the fallen” and pointed to biblical references. Christian wasn’t shy about expressing his faith in God, and folks are posting #RamFam Instagram posts to honor his memory.
Consistency is key! Im doing it for the Fallen. Angelo State | Football | Firm believer in God. | Libra | Isaiah 54:17 | IG :

The wisdom flowing out of Christian’s Twitter account is also winning Taylor plenty of attention in the wake of the young man’s death.
“Work on yourself first before you change others.”
According to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, Taylor was indeed the man who died — however, Christian’s uncle is questioning the reports that Taylor was allegedly involved in a robbery.
The fact that Taylor had tweeted about police brutality is also making the news.
As reported by the Inquisitr, the recent deaths of blacks such as Eric Garner, Sandra Bland, and now Taylor have made videos related to those deaths very popular. Meanwhile, the death of unarmed teens such as Zachary Hammond, who was white, as also making the news and prompting race questions.
