Reality Star Jenelle Evans Responds To Breakup, Claims She Called Off Engagement Weeks Ago

Reality star Jenelle Evans is no longer planning to marry Nathan Griffith, the father of her one-year-old son, Kaiser. On Teen Mom 2, fans have watched as the reality star and her former Marine boyfriend went through ups and downs, including an engagement and breakup, and now, their drama-filled relationship has finally come to an end.

On Tuesday, the reality star spoke to Entertainment Tonight, confirming she gave her engagement ring back to Griffith after calling off the relationship two weeks ago.

“I’m enjoying being a mom. I just celebrated my first son’s 6th birthday this weekend and it went fantastic. I am not looking to date anyone at the moment. I am focusing on myself.”

While the reality star claims to have broken up with Griffith two weeks ago, there appears to be a couple of major holes in her story. In addition to participating in several wedding-themed interviews one week ago, Evans also shared a photo of herself wedding dress-shopping just six days ago.

In the caption of the photo, the reality star told fans, “Pleasure working with you @davidtutera check me out in this weeks issue of @okmagazine in newsstands now make up by @Melangenyc.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Griffith was the one to break the news of the split, confirming he was dating someone new during an interview with Radar Online, just hours before the reality star spoke to Entertainment Tonight. According to the interview, Griffith appeared to have been the one who called it off, after deeming the reality star to be “addicted” to drama.

“I was with Jessie before and I’m with her again. Jenelle and I are not together and I did not cheat on her. She knows we have been broken up. She kept telling me ‘I’m going to ruin your life,’ and I just don’t care anymore. I don’t care. I can’t take it anymore. I have been with Jessie every day now. Jessie and I were broken up for a little while but we are back together now. I didn’t cheat on Jenelle and she knows it.”

The reality star began dating Griffith in 2013 after meeting on a dating app. One year later, they welcomed their first child, and in January of this year, they became engaged during a trip to St. Thomas, which was filmed for Teen Mom 2.
