Lady Gaga Hints At New Album After Tour With Tony Bennett Wraps Up

Lady Gaga just wrapped up her tour with Tony Bennett, and now Mother Monster posted something that has all the little monsters excited. Lady Gaga, on her Instagram account, hinted at working on her fifth studio album when she posted an image with the caption, “LG5 time.” This could mean that Lady Gaga is eager to work on her fifth studio album, not counting the 2014 Cheek to Cheek collaboration with Mr. Bennett.

This makes the end of the tour with Tony Bennett bittersweet for the 29-year-old singer. The August 1 concert in Washington ended Lady Gaga’s seven-month tour with Bennett, wherein they visited places such as Monaco, Italy, Spain, and Denmark, according to People.

Of course, the last concert ended with a bang, Lady Gaga style. Tony Bennett’s birthday is on August 3, and as a pre-birthday surprise, Lady Gaga had something in store for the 89-year-old jazz singer. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lady Gaga gave Tony a massive cake and sang a happy birthday song to him, together with the audience.

Lady Gaga is sad that the tour is over, as she obviously enjoyed spending time with Bennett. She posted a photo on Instagram, sharing just how much she appreciated working with Bennett, as Billboard reported.

Now that Lady Gaga’s tour with Tony Bennett is over and there is a hint on a new album, fans can only speculate what kind of album it will be. Will Lady Gaga stick with her pop influences, or will we hear jazzy tracks inspired by her collaboration with Bennett? As of writing, there are no other details regarding the direction of fifth album, but knowing Lady Gaga, we are sure to get something interesting.
