Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Not Calling Off Wedding Despite Split Rumors
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs may have found themselves at the center of split rumors earlier this year after reports suggested that Pattinson’s family was opposed to his upcoming nuptials to Twigs, but it appears the duo’s wedding is still on despite the rampant rumors.
According to false tabloid rumors, FKA Twigs is “driving Robert Pattinson away” by “banning” the actor’s ex-girlfriend from their upcoming wedding. An alleged source is quoted as saying that Twigs has “forbidden Robert from inviting Kristen Stewart to the wedding” before noting that the tension has caused the duo to call off their engagement altogether, Gossip Cop reports.
While sources close to Pattinson have confirmed that Kristen Stewart will not be attending the duo’s wedding, sources insist that it doesn’t stem from her alleged feud with Pattinson’s fiancée.
Now, a source close to Pattinson and Twigs insist that any rumors suggesting that their upcoming wedding is off are “stupid” and “wrong,” noting that the couple is still going strong after almost one year of dating.
The news comes only a few days after FKA Twigs sent the internet into a frenzy after she took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a white lace dress, leading followers to believe that she was giving fans a sneak peek at her wedding dress.
Hollywood Take reports that Twigs shared a photo of herself in a white gown with the caption, “inches and scissors never hurt anybody,” alluding to the fact that she was preparing to get a hair cut.

Despite Twigs’ caption, fans instantly took to the comments section of the photo to speculate whether or not Pattinson and Twigs had already tied the knot in a secret ceremony.
“You’re going to be such a beautiful bride,” one fan commented on Twigs’ Instagram post, while another added, “Please help us calm our t**s and tell us if it’s your wedding dress.”
While neither Twigs, nor Pattinson, have spoken out about their engagement or upcoming nuptials, sources close to the duo revealed that it’s likely that the Twilight actor and “Two Weeks” singer will wed over the summer.
“She’d like a low-key registry office ceremony, pub lunch and party with their friends. They’re talking about August. [Twigs] doesn’t intend to wear white. She wants this to be fun and a bit different. Rob’s camp suggested Salisbury Cathedral, as apparently his family has close ties and [Twigs] wants something a bit less stuffy.”
