Miley Cyrus Adopts Abandoned Puppy
Pop sensation Miley Cyrus is not one to preach activism to others when she doesn’t start at home. Now Cyrus has a new reason to be Happy, Happy being the name of the puppy she has recently adopted.
Miley’s boyfriend, Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth was seen outside of the pet store buying a new dog bed and a new bag of puppy food yesterday but the reasoning was a mystery. Now we know why!
Miley Cyrus, who already has a full house of dogs with Lila, Floyd and Ziggy, has added Happy to her brood. She tweeted about how she found the dog abandoned in a box outside of Walmart.
She tweeted late Wednesday night,
“He was left in a box in front of Walmart. I don’t understand how people can be so cruel. That’s why we named him Happy.”
The dog is a possible mix of a Rottweiler and a Beagle. Cyrus shared a photo (pictured above) saying the ddog had gone “from cardboard to Maison Martin Margiela. The puppy in the picture is relaxing on some expensive looking leather.
Miley has been seen as an activist for a lot of the issues she holds dear. One of those issues is animal rights. The other has been to get involved in the fight for Marriage equality. Miley also is known for sticking up for the little guy. When Urban Outfitters brazenly took a design from an indie artist, Miley went as far as to publicly chastise the company and announce a boycott.
