Caitlyn And Kris Meet At Cait’s Home: Former Couple Tries To Patch Rocky Post-Transition Relationship

Caitlyn and Kris Jenner finally meet face to face for the first time since Cait transitioned from Bruce to her new female identity, and that meeting is generating headlines today. The former married couple had not met in person since Bruce Jenner transitioned, but that all changed on Tuesday, according to Gossip Cop.

Kris visited Caitlyn’s Malibu home, and the news outlet reported that their sources revealed to them that it was an emotional meeting for both women. Kris did not know that Bruce wanted to become a woman during their marriage, and the news was a shock for Kardashian matriarch.

While Kris Jenner tried to handle the news in her own time and way, she was once again blindsided by Caitlyn’s coming out interview in the June 1 issue of Vanity Fair magazine. Caitlyn made some comments during the interview that rubbed Kris the wrong way, and there were reports of the pair feuding over the interview.

TMZ shared their own report of the pair’s meeting on Tuesday.

“We’re told Kris is feeling bad that a nearly 30 year relationship has gone down in flames to the point they almost never even speak. On top of that, they share children and therefore will always be a family. Our sources say they talked out some of their issues and it went well. We’re told it got very personal… as you know, there are multiple versions of what Kris knew and when she knew it. As for the future, at least from Kris’ side… she’s hopeful this is a fresh beginning.”

Kris had spoken about Caitlyn since she went very public with her transition last month. According to E! Online, Kris said to Extra that she thought “it’s amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy.”

After Caitlyn appeared on stage at the ESPY’s earlier this month, Kris Jenner spoke up again, but she did not attend the award event. She said Caitlyn’s speech was “amazing and very brave.” According to a previous Inquisitr report, Kris said that she missed Bruce when she was asked about Caitlyn’s transition during the Keeping up with the Kardashians “About Bruce” special.

Hollywood Life shared more details about Kris and Caitlyn’s first meeting. The details come from an insider.

“Kris was super uncomfortable and rigid at first. She definitely didn’t know how to act around Caitlyn. They avoided anything serious for awhile making small talk about clothes and the kids. Kris was the one who ventured into more serious topics and she couldn’t help but start bawling her eyes out saying how hard this has been on her. Kris feels like she has been beat up in the media by Caitlyn, unable to respond. If she did, Kris feels like she would be even more vilified for bashing Caitlyn. Kris feels like Cait was not always honest with her and that if things had bothered her in their marriage she should have spoken up — not bashed her after the fact.”

Another Hollywood Life report revealed at least one of the topics of conversation for the pair. Caitlyn and Kris had a conversation to talk about their daughter Kylie Jenner. She will turn 18 on August 10, and her parents fear that Kylie will rush off to marry Tyga. During the I Am Cait premiere, Kylie even joked she was married when her grandmother gave her a photo from her youth and said she was 17 and married in the photograph. Kylie said “Like me!”

The Hollywood Life report shared more from their insider about the Kylie situation.

“They both have a lot of concerns about Kylie because she thinks she knows everything and doesn’t listen to their advice. She’s rushing to grow up and that scares them. They want her to slow down with Tyga and not rush into getting married. Unfortunately they feel like she just doesn’t want to hear them.”

All eyes are definitely on Caitlyn now. With I Am Cait now airing on E! Television, people are getting an inside look at the person Caitlyn is. Cait was spotted in public twice this week. On Tuesday, she met rumored girlfriend Candice Cayne for lunch in West Hollywood, according to People Magazine. On Wednesday night, a Daily Mail report revealed that she went out to dinner at Eva Longoria’s Beso restaurant.

Caitlyn is receiving a lot of support from other celebrities. Just this week, Greg Louganis spoke about Caitlyn in an interview with the Huffington Post. He has a new series premiering on HBO next week.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re transgender. It doesn’t matter if you’re straight; it doesn’t matter if you’re gay or lesbian. We all have a journey, and I’d love to share [in Caitlyn’s] journey.”

It is not likely fans of Caitlyn will see her first meeting with Kris on either I Am Cait or Keeping up with the Kardashians, but it is possible. Fans will need to keep watching to find out.
