Michelle Stafford Baby News: ‘General Hospital’ Star Shares News Of Family Addition
General Hospital star Michelle Stafford is expecting another baby soon and she just shared the big news. Though the actress did not share much in the way of details, what she did reveal was just enough to get fans excited. What’s the scoop so far?
The General Hospital and former Young and Restless star already has one daughter, Natalia Scout Lee. Now Natalia is about to be a big sister, and it seems she is still sorting through some big feelings about the impending change.
Stafford shared a picture of Natalia via Instagram and broke the big news. Natalia, 5, is shown with some of her stuffed animals looking a bit grumpy. Michelle indicated that Natalia is looking that way because she’s adjusting to the idea that she’s going to have to learn how to share her toys. Fans went wild over the fun announcement.

The actress has branched out to develop a number of projects since leaving Young and Restless. Michelle created The Stafford Project, a web series based on her life, and both Michelle and Natalia are currently doing a web series for Nickelodeon called Secret Mind of a Single Mom.
Michelle Stafford has talked quite a bit in the past about her challenging journey to become a mom. She opened up via People some time back about trying to adopt and trying in vitro fertilization and artificial insemination several times. After several surgeries and more than three years of trying to become a mom, Stafford turned to surrogacy. Luckily, eventually things fell into place on that front and she welcomed Natalia in 2009.
The actress has never shied away from admitting that being a single parent is hard. However, she’s also said that it is blissful. Stafford says that she and Natalia are best friends, buddies and a strong team and it sounds like the duo is ready to make their family a trio.
Though at this point Michelle Stafford hasn’t detailed when the new baby is coming, whether it’s a boy or girl or anything else, it seems that things are far enough along that she feels prepared to officially share the news. Stafford also doesn’t detail whether the new baby is coming via surrogacy once again, though that seems likely.
General Hospital fans know that Stafford is a key player in the storylines playing out in Port Charles these days, with plenty more to come from the sounds of things. She clearly loves to keep busy, which should work well considering the impending arrival.
The General Hospital star jokes that she knows she’s crazy, but she’s also lucky and grateful and she is confident that she’s a good mom. Fans can’t wait to hear more about Michelle Stafford’s baby news as the new little one joins big sister Natalia and mom Michelle.
