Bobbi Kristina Dead: D.A Pushing For Manslaughter Charges Against Boyfriend

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, has died, and now the investigation into what happened the day she was found lying face-down in a tub is taking center-stage.

The D.A is now pushing to bring manslaughter charges against Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, TMZ reports. According to TMZ, authorities say that Nick’s alleged crime is sourcing the drugs that Bobbi Kristina consumed that day, which led to her eventual death. A key person of interest in the prosecution’s case is Max Lomas, who was also in the house the day she was found unresponsive in the bathtub.

At this time, Max Lomas is being prosecuted in Georgia on two drug-related felonies that aren’t related to Bobbi Kristina. Lomas’ case in Georgia has been languishing in the courts, and inside sources claim that authorities are interested in making a deal with Lomas: probation on the felonies and immunity in the Bobbi Kristina case if he’ll tell them exactly what happened that day in her house. Looks like prosecutors believe that Nick knew only too well that Bobbi had a drug problem so severe that she would consume them to the point of losing consciousness. He, therefore, indirectly contributed to her death, which is the reason why involuntary manslaughter charges are being sought.

Bobbi Kristina died Sunday after being comatose for 6 months after she was found face down and unresponsive in her bathtub in January. CBS News reports that her preliminary autopsy has revealed “no obvious cause of death or significant injuries.”

According to the Daily Mail, sources who were close to her have disclosed that she had a history of falling asleep in bathtubs after partying. In a chilling coincidence, those sources reveal that the night before a member of her entourage found Whitney Houston dead in 2012 — after losing consciousness in a bathtub — Bobbi Kristina drew a bath and fell asleep in it, flooding the bathroom. Three years later, she was found unresponsive in a bathtub again, this time with devastating consequences.

After her daughter’s body was found in the bathtub in January, Whitney Houston fans and well-wishers from around world hoped for a positive Bobbi Kristina update, but that never came. Nick Gordon’s family has maintained that he has been deeply affected by her death.

“Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart,” Michelle Gordon, Nick’s mother, told the media.

“Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.”

Bobbi Kristina’s funeral is set to take place on Saturday in Atlanta, the Daily Mail reports, and her body will be flown to New Jersey so that she can be buried next to her mother.
