MTV Divorce Coming Soon? ‘Teen Mom 2’ Couple Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin Continue To Fight

An MTV divorce could happen by the time Teen Mom 2 Season 6 reaches its close. Since the series’ latest installment debuted earlier this month, Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin have hinted at an impending MTV divorce, and in a sneak peek of Thursday’s show, shared by Design & Trend on July 28, things appear to be getting even worse.

“What is going on with us? Where are we going wrong?” asks Marroquin, as he and Lowry sit down to talk in their living room.

Right away, Lowry explains her desire to spend time away from her husband.

“On the weekends I want to be with my friends, and you need constant affection and attention and need to be included in everything, and I’m not like that.”

Further hinting at an MTV divorce, Marroquin then asks Lowry why it is such a far-fetched idea to think he’d be included in her fun with friends. In response, Lowry claims she simply has no interest in spending more time with someone she’s always fighting with.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lowry has admitted, on several occasions, that she and her husband of nearly three years considered an MTV divorce during filming. Just weeks ago, while speaking to Wetpaint Entertainment, Lowry credited her and her husband’s immaturity to their marital troubles.

“We obviously were not being the most mature when we were throwing around the word ‘divorce,’ and I feel like at the time we were just trying to hurt each other, more than we were actually considering divorce. We did consider it, but at the end of the day, we worked out all of our problems.”

“There was a point in our marriage that was extremely difficult… I’m not gonna give too much away, but just want yall to know it’s worth it to keep fighting.”

Lowry wed Marroquin in September 2012 at a courthouse near their home and celebrated the marriage one year later in an over-the-top wedding at an aquarium in Camden, New Jersey. Two months later, the couple welcomed their first child together, Lincoln Marshall Marroquin (Lowry is also mom to Isaac, from her previous relationship with Jo Rivera).

Although talks of an MTV divorce ran rapid during filming, Lowry and Marroquin insist they are now in a much better place and happy within their marriage.
