Blake Lively Posts Selfie With Coffee Mug, Calls Lipstick Shade ‘Immature’

Actress Blake Lively showed off a unique lipstick in a selfie posted on Instagram Sunday.

What appears to be a chocolate brown shade was a major highlight in the picture, especially with Blake puckering her lips as she blew into her coffee mug.

However, the 27-year-old Age of Adaline actress may have topped the photo itself with her hilarious caption and hashtags.

“This new lipstick is all the rage. 80% cocoa. 112% immature. #AdmittingItIsHalfTheBattle.”

In a December 2013 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Blake Lively shared her honest thoughts and opinions on beauty-related topics, including fragrances, makeup, icons, and advice.

When she was asked to identify a specific beauty look that she would never try, Blake made it clear how much she disliked the question.

“I hate those types of questions because I think that limits people. Whatever is you, is awesome. There are looks that I see on other people that I think would look horrible on me, but I think if somebody has the courage to be really daring and try something outlandish, then more power to them. That’s just encouraging and inspiring… I just wish I had their bravery.”

Blake Lively further explained that people “shut other people down” for wearing certain outfits that seem excessive or “having a certain beauty look that’s too much.” However, she feels that “it’s all a version of self-expression.”

During the same interview, the wife of Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds also opened up about the best beauty advice that she has ever received. Instead of identifying a specific look or type of product, the advice focused more on a person’s attitude and self-confidence.

“You can’t really go wrong as long as you’re true to yourself… Whether it’s fashion or beauty, if you’re not comfortable wearing it, you’re not wearing it with confidence and then the whole thing is shot. Whatever it is, if you wear it with confidence, then you look great. It’s really meant to be a reflection of yourself and who you are.”

Blake also mentioned that she enjoys sticking with the hair and makeup team members that seem to know her very well because she trusts them and knows their personalities.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the former Gossip Girl star made headlines by changing the color of her signature blonde hair to “bronde” — a creative yet stylish combination of brown and blonde.

From the tweeted responses and reactions of her fans and critics, it was a solid look for Blake Lively — a fashionable dare that ended successfully.
