Tom Cruise To Propose To 22-Year-Old Assistant? Who Is Emily Thomas?

Tom Cruise is reportedly so head over heels in love with his 22-year-old assistant, Emily Thomas, that he is considering proposing to her.

According to the Daily Express, Tom Cruise has been smitten with Thomas since they originally met last year, which is when he hired her to work on Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.

A source told the publication, “Tom has fallen head over heels for Emily and she feels the same way — there’s even a buzz in his inner circle he might propose. Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is.”

Cruise is so into Emily Thomas that he’s also insisted that she work on his next film Mena.

But the big question is: Who is Emily Thomas?

Other than the fact that she bares a striking resemblance to Tom Cruise’s ex-wife, Katie Holmes — who Tom Cruise divorced back in 2012 — very little is known about the 22-year-old that has 53-year-old Cruise in a stupor.

According to the Daily Mail, Emily Thomas hails from a upper-class English family and was raised inside a home that was worth around $2 million in Hertfordshire. She attended the independent boarding school Aldenham School, where it’s been alleged that she excelled in both athletics and at an academic level.

James Fowler, who was the headmaster at the Aldenham School, has spoken about Emily Thomas, calling her “a delightful girl from a very nice, supportive, very ordinary family” who was also “popular, outgoing and [an] engaging pupil.”

After studying at Quest Secretarial & Business Training, where she completed a diploma, she then looked to pursue a career in film. And just ahead of shooting on Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Tom Cruise handpicked Emily Thomas to work alongside him as his film set assistant.

Over the last few months, it’s been alleged that the pair have grown closer and closer, to the point that they’re now being romantically linked. Tom Cruise has previously been married three times, before, having married Mim Rodgers in 1987, Nicole Kidman in 1990, and Katie Holmes in 2006.
