Kourtney Miserable? ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Star Miserable After Split From Scott Disick, Seeking Sole Custody Of Kids

Is Kourtney miserable?

According to numerous reports, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is devastated after her very public split from her longtime boyfriend and baby’s daddy, Scott Disick.

While Kourtney may be trying to put on a smile for her three kids, Mason, 5, Penelope, 2, and Reign, who was born in December, sources close to the reality star say she is absolutely heartbroken by their decision to separate.

“Kourtney is miserable at the moment, so miserable,” the source told People Magazine.

Kourtney and Scott have had a rocky relationship from the beginning. Scott’s trouble with alcohol and extensive partying was documented on the reality show, and although at times it seemed as though he had straightened up, there always seemed to be some sort of relapse. Disick even entered a rehab facility when he spiraled out of control following the death of his parents during Kardashian’s third pregnancy with Reign.

“I definitely go in and out of happy and dark places in my life, and I wish that I could be a little more consistent, and I wish it was a little bit easier for me to be under control, but it’s not,” Disick said during an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that aired in May. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to change. It’s just not as simple as people think.”

Their latest breakup came after Scott was photographed partying with another woman in Monte Carlo earlier this month. Scott was seen lounging near the pool with 25-year-old stylist Chloe Bartoli. The photos show Disick cozying up with Bartoli, rubbing her back, and allegedly holding hands with her at some point during their rendezvous.

Shortly after the photographs were revealed, Kourtney made the gut-wrenching decision to split from the father of her children.

“She’s not happy,” another insider said, according to NewsOxy. “Scott has his issues, and she still loves him. She’s afraid that he’s spinning out of control because of his lifestyle.”

While the couple never married, not because Scott didn’t try, Kourtney still decided to meet with Hollywood’s top divorce attorney Laura Wasser to seek sole custody of their three children, Us Weekly reports.

According to the celebrity news magazine, Kardashian first met with Wasser during the July 4 weekend, prior to their breakup being announced. She then met with her again on July 20 to discuss her options in getting sole custody of her kids.

“She met with Laura Wasser again,” a source told the news site. “And is going to seek sole custody of the kids.”
