Sam Smith Shows Off Another Amazing Weight Loss Transformation — Also A Terrible Sunburn
Pop artist Sam Smith has been wowing fans lately with his amazing dedication to weight loss. It seems the singer hasn’t lost any of his motivation, because he recently posted a photo to his Instagram account showing off an even slimmer Sam than we saw before. But along with the extra pounds he shed came a painful-looking sunburn.
According to ET Online, Sam Smith is the skinniest he’s ever been since his rise to fame. The dieting and exercise began earlier this year and is clearly doing the trick. But it seems all the outdoor activity responsible for the thin Sam Smith is also doing a number on his fair complexion. Sam shared the photo with the self-deprecating caption “My sun burn is SO BAD ???? Lobster viiiiiiiibes ? Just had to make this top to give it some air hahhaaaaa Lord.”
The caption for this sun burn photo reads: “The sun burn is REAL right now #tooenglish.”
And the sunburned Sam is not the only skinny snapshots fans have been receiving lately. The pop star has shared several photos of his new self, looking entirely transformed.
According to Today, Sam Smith attributes his amazing weight loss to the book Eat. Nourish. Glow. by nutritionist Amelia Freer. He gushed about the woman on Instagram, claiming that she changed his life.
“Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life. Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food.”
Sam Smith admitted that his struggles with weight were difficult to cope with, and that people insulting him for being fat hurt much more than the homophobic slurs he endures from time to time.
“If someone called me fat, that affects me way more than someone calling me a f—-t,” he said to the Australian 60 Minutes. “I think just because I’ve accepted that, if someone calls me a f—-t, it’s like, I am gay and I’m proud to be gay so there’s no issues there. If something calls you fat, that’s something I want to change.”
It seems like Sam Smith has gone through some major changes since his rise to stardom. Once an admittedly depressed and hopeless romantic, Sam Smith is now a superstar who’s on top of the world.
