‘Dance Moms’ Drama: Abby Sets The Bar High As Preparation For Nationals Progresses [Spoilers]
A new episode of Dance Moms airs Tuesday night on Lifetime, and Abby Lee Miller and her dancers are getting ready for Nationals. There will be more drama coming in this one with the Candy Apples, and fans should brace themselves for a big decision from Kira and Kalani about their future with the ALDC. TV Guide shares that this one is titled “Solo Battle: Round 1.” Jeannette is officially leading the Candy Apples now, and she brings a unique component to the next competition. The team seemingly is now the Broadway Dance Academy, and they utilize the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles in their competition piece.
With Nationals right around the corner, Abby is making the girls face off against one another to earn solo spots. In this one, JoJo and Kendall will be pitted against one another in what will become a bracket-style contest for those spots.
The Dance Moms spoiler preview from the show’s Facebook page shows JoJo and Kendall preparing for their face-off. Whichever girl does best in this competition will dance against someone else in the coming week to angle for that spot at Nationals. Both moms think their girls have a shot at doing well, but which one ultimately ranks higher in the competition?
While oftentimes there are reliable Dance Moms spoilers available regarding the competition placings, that does not necessarily seem to be the case this week. The show’s Wikia spoiler page indicates that there is a group dance, as well as solos performed by both JoJo and Kendall at the Escondido, California, competition, but results weren’t made available.
Based on buzz from Dance Moms spoiler fans on Instagram, it sounds as if Kendall topped JoJo in this battle. Kendall reportedly earned first in the junior division and third overall, while JoJo got third in the junior division but didn’t place in the overall category. It also seems that the ALDC earned first place with their group dance.
Viewers have seen a lot of drama between Kalani’s mom (Kira) and Abby in the past few episodes. Just what is the big decision that the Dance Moms spoilers tease is coming up in this episode?
There had been a lot of buzz around this time that Kira and Kalani made the decision to leave the ALDC at this point. However, it seems that Kalani was at the competition for this week, though she reportedly did not perform. Kira denied on social media that they were leaving the show, but a number of fans have still felt concerned.
While fans are still feeling anxious about Kalani’s connection to the ALDC, Dance Moms spoilers for later episodes in Season 5 indicate that she has still been in the mix and performing with the studio. As for those solos at Nationals, fans will have to stay tuned for now to see how the bracket face-off progresses and how the competition ultimately goes for the ALDC.
