Fan Moons Bryce Harper During MLB Debut
High School phenom Bryce Harper started his major league career last night with a nice double into center field. And when the Washington Nationals player looks back at his first career hit, he’ll have the pleasure of watching a few male fans dropping their pants and mooning the cameras.
Harper’s first hit came during his third at bat during his MLB debut. The 19-year-old said that he wasn’t nervous about his big league debut, he was, however, amazed by the fact that he is a professional baseball player.
“I really didn’t have butterflies at all. I think that’s one of the first times I’ve never gotten butterflies. I was sitting in the dugout before the game and I was thinking to myself: ‘Wow, I’m in the big leagues.’ But I was talking to Adam LaRoche before the game and I told him: ‘Hey, I’m really calm right now.’ I was just trying to look for my pitch and got into some good counts. I think in the next week or so, it’ll really sink in.”
Here’s the video of Harper’s first MLB hit.
