Drake Crashes Toronto Wedding And Performs New Song — New ‘Views From The 6’ Release Date [Watch]

Drake is no stranger to surprise appearances, and it seems that he made another a few days ago in Toronto, Canada. While crashing a wedding, he performed a new song.

Drake fans have been awaiting Views from the 6 for a while now. And though a few leaks have dropped, the majority of Drizzy’s new album has remained unreleased. However, one lucky bride and groom were privileged enough to not only hear one of Drake’s new songs, but also hear him perform it at their wedding.

Yet, Drake and the groom aren’t strangers. He’s actually Aubrey’s barber, Jason Macaraig.

To quote Uproxx, “A man’s bond with his barber is almost a strong as a marriage.”

And as a real show of support, Drizzy dropped in to celebrate the special occasion with a memorable gesture.

Mr. Graham even gave a speech. During his words of encouragement, he didn’t forget to throw in a line to keep his appointments intact. Via Instagram, he stated as follows.

“You might be married but man’s still need their hair cut though.”

During the reception/after-party, Drake’s performance was a hit. The new song resembles D.R.A.M.’s fun-sounding “Cha Cha.” Actually, Fader reports that it could be a Drizzy remix of the song. D.R.A.M.’s version sounds light at first, but then, the beat drops, and the fun begins.

Nevertheless, Jason and his wife got to hear Drake’s version firsthand.

Though it was probably unintentional, Drake’s appearance seemed to steal the show. However, that’s not anything too unusual for the artist.

A guest, Sahab Habibi, even captured a video of Drake dancing in the crowd.

You would think Aubrey would be busy in the studio finishing up Views from the 6. Well, actually, while headlining London’s Wireless 2015, he was said to have been in the studio putting the finishing touches on the album during his time in the United Kingdom.

Moreover, according to Uproxx, the official OVO website made an update days ago that simply read “September 24.” As mentions the medium, could it be the new album’s release date?

Since the alleged post was made to the website, it has been deleted.

What do you think? Did someone from the inside leak the date? How do you feel about his wedding crashing?
