Nicole Kidman Wants More Kids With Husband Keith Urban

She might be 48-years old, but Nicole Kidman recently opened up to Vogue about wanting more children with husband Keith Urban.

In the August issue of Vogue, Nicole let the magazine in on her Nashville home she shares with Urban. In a candid interview she went on to say that she often thinks about what could have happened if she met Keith Urban a bit earlier.

“I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him. But I didn’t. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious. But as Keith says, ‘The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down.'”

That said, she still has two children with Urban, daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Additionally, she has two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, son Connor and daughter Isabella. In the Scientology documentary Going Clear, a former employee talks about being pressured to turn her children against Kidman once her and Tom divorced.

Although Kidman has never publicly spoken about this, the two children, now young adults, live with Tom in Los Angeles are are rarely seen with Nicole. Kidman has supported this decision but never mentioned it being a choice made because of Scientology. In 2010 she told Hello!“They live with Tom, which was their choice. I’d love them to live with us, but what can you do?”

Her daughter Isabella is occasionally photographed visiting Nicole, but it doesn’t seem like Nicole is a huge presence.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman said of her two older children, “I’ve chosen not to speak publicly about Scientology. I have two children who are Scientologist — Connor and Isabella — and I utterly respect their beliefs.” It’s said that Nicole was labeled a “supressive” person by the religion and needs to be avoided as she’s considered “toxic” to the religion.

That said, Nicole seemed to fill the void with her two children she shares with Keith. In the feature for Vogue she talks about their on set visits, “They come and sit on the set and go, ‘Where are the snacks?'”

Of her family life with Keith, she told Women’s Weekly, “If it were the choice between my family and Keith, and my career, I wouldn’t even bat an eyelid. The most important things to me are the love of our relationship and my children. At this stage of my life, and with time being so precious, the joy I get from us as a family outweighs any joy in any other area of my life, by far.”
