Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms are reportedly working together to ensure their daughters’ safety. Following rumors of prescription pill abuse, the two men are said to be keeping their eye on their mutual ex-wife, Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer, in hopes of maintaining a healthy environment for their children.
“So, far Leah’s been on good behavior and things are running smoothly with her and the kids,” a source told Life & Style , according to a July 17 report by OK! Magazine .
Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms have reportedly settled their custody issues with Messer in recent months, but when it comes to co-parenting, the two men will do what it takes to make sure their girls aren’t subjected to bad behavior.
“If her behavior raises any red flags, they will definitely make a move.”
Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms were briefly married to Messer, and each of their relationships were seen on Teen Mom 2 . Simms and Messer wed in 2010 but split in 2011 after Simms learned his wife had cheated, and Calvert and Messer wed in 2012 and split in 2015.
Although Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms have been seen at odds on Teen Mom 2 , they have reportedly settled the differences and hope to work together in the future.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms were first said to have made amends last month. In a report by Radar Online at the time, a source claimed Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms were keeping in touch not only to ensure Messer wasn’t going off the deep end, but also to arrange time for their daughters, who are sisters, to be together .
“Though they used to fight, Corey and Jeremy have a great relationship now. They obviously dealt with a lot of the same issues. And now that they talk, Jeremy can see Corey’s side in his past arguments with Leah.
“They arrange visits because they don’t want the sisters to be separated all the time. It’s important to them that they all have a close relationship.”
Calvert has one daughter with Messer, 2-year-old Adalynn Faith Calvert, and Simms has two girls with the Teen Mom 2 star, 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah.
