You Can Own Actual Costumes From ‘Breaking Bad’

Now that the massively successful AMC show Breaking Bad is over, fans are looking for ways to get their fix. The Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul has gotten excellent reviews so far, but it’s between seasons. So what can you do to prove you’re the biggest Breaking Bad fan of all time? By buying authentic costumes worn by the actors on the show, of course.

According to Time, an online auction is selling real clothing items featured in episodes of Breaking Bad, and anyone with the money and the fanaticism can own the memorabilia. The auction is being held at the Prop Store website, the same people who recently auctioned off authentic costumes from the show Hannibal. The Breaking Bad auction starts today (July 16) and runs through July 23.

Among the extensive list of authentic Breaking Bad threads are several of Bryan Cranston’s green button-up shirts, including the entire outfit from the infamous “Ozymandius” episode. Lots of shirts worn by Aaron Paul are also available, usually hoodies or graphic T-shirts. The “red puffer vest” worn by Paul in the pilot episode of Breaking Bad is up for grabs, which will probably be a highly-coveted item.

According to the AV Club, all of the available clothing are costume pieces worn by either Walter White or Jesse Pinkman. No other character costumes are represented, so don’t expect any of Saul Goodman’s cheap suits.

Perhaps the most exciting costume piece of the bunch is the orange “superlab chemical suit,” which was worn by one of the Breaking Bad actors while cooking meth. The bids for this particular item are climbing quickly, so act fast if you want an authentic Walter White lab suit.

A total of 77 items are currently available, but some iconic Breaking Bad clothing items are noticeably missing, such as the yellow hazmat suits seen in many of the promo shots, as well as Walter White’s notorious tighty whities from the very first season.

Other props from the show would probably sell much more quickly, such as the one-eyed purple teddy bear or Tuco’s grill encased in glass, but none of those pieces are up for auction either.

Will you be bidding on any Breaking Bad memorabilia?
