‘Arrow’ Cast Back In Action: New Season 4 Spoilers Tease A Return And The Big Bad

Production has begun on Arrow Season 4. The cast went back to the set this week after a big weekend at Comic-Con, and they are ready for work to begin.

Fans will see some major changes to the series in Season 4. There is a new villain, and Oliver Queen has lost his secret identity. The Arrow is gone, but he will find a new way to fight next season.

The cast and crew shared several photos from the set this week. Marc Guggenheim shared a photo of the first page of the season premiere script. The Arrow Season 4 premiere is titled “Green Arrow.”

As for the new big bad on the series this season, Guggenheim teased a bit about Damien Darhk, who is played by Neal McDonough, to E! Online.

“He’s a very different kind villain. Malcolm, Shae and Ra’s, they were all guys who did the wrong thing for what they thought was the right reason. Damien doesn’t care about morality. We wanted a big bad who is really pure evil.”

He also has a sense of humor. Will this make him a likeable villain? Fans will need to tune in to find out how they feel about the new villain. Fans only saw him briefly at the end of Season 3.

Another big question fans have is about Sara Lance. She is scheduled to appear on a new series next season, but her character was killed off during Arrow Season 3. How will she come back to life? That secret is still concealed, but fans will see her again on Arrow before she lands on Legends of Tomorrow.

Caity Lotz teased Sara’s return to Arrow at Comic-Con over the weekend, according to Cinema Blend.

“I’m definitely going to go onto Arrow. I’ll be making appearances and there’s a lot to deal with. Maybe she’ll have a wonderful revenge kill list, and throughout the series I think we can hopefully keep addressing it and in tying those in, because it’s interesting to bring those two shows together, but definitely be coming on Arrow, what they do with that… I think will be interesting.”

Lotz did not reveal exactly when Arrow fans will see her on the series, but it will likely occur before Legends of Tomorrow premieres at mid-season.

Arrow will be an entirely different series when it returns this fall. Team Arrow will still be together, and Thea Queen will join them to fight crime in Starling City. Her getting ready for action is shown in some of the new set photos.

What do you think? Are you ready for more Arrow?
