Sienna Miller And Tom Sturridge Call It Quits After Four Years

Another one in Hollywood bites the dust. Actress Sienna Miller and actor Tom Sturridge have decided to break up.

According to the Mirror, the couple has decided to call it quits. The two have been engaged for three years, and are also parents to their daughter, Marlowe Sturridge, 3. This isn’t a recent break up, as Sienna and Tom decided to end their relationship “a few weeks ago.” Despite the unfortunate news, Tom and Sienna are said to be on good terms with each other. In total, the pair dated for four years.

A source told Us Weekly that the split isn’t new news, and no one is really surprised. “They were in a bit of a rough patch for awhile. Their schedules on top of raising a child started to get to them.”

Since 2011, Sienna has been in ten films, including Unfinished Business opposite Vince Vaughn, American Sniper opposite Bradley Cooper, Foxcatcher, A Case of You, and Just Like a Woman — just to name a few. Since then, Sturridge has been in On the Road and Far from the Madding Crowd. From the looks of it, it may have more to do with Sienna Miller’s schedule rather than Tom’s.

Sienna, who has snagged tabloid headlines since her on-again, off-again relationship with Jude Law, was very open in discussing the struggles of motherhood. In a 2012 interview with London’s Time Out, Miller said, “It’s a shock, of course it is. Some people find it really easy, but for me I found it really hard.”

In 2014, she changed her tune ever so slightly about motherhood when she sat down for an interview with Vogue, “It was like, ‘There you are—that’s what I have been missing.’ Like we’re both in on something only we know. An amazing sense of being complicit with a little being.”

At the time she said Tom was, “grounded, intelligent, kind, and intact person… That’s amazing to be around. That’s the father of my child. There’s no drama.” She described her life back then as, “very normal, very kind of still. I’m painting it as very boring! No, it’s not.”

According to Us Weekly, the pair vacationed together early this month in Spain. We don’t know whether or not this was a break-up moon, a la Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, or if this was a last ditch effort to get on the same page.
