German Olympian Disgraces Stalker On Facebook

Ariane Friedrich, a 2012 high jump hopeful from Germany, has taken to Facebook to eradicate her stalker problem.

When this now famous pervert sent pictures of his genitalia to Ariane Friedrich, the German high jumper proceeded to post the name and email address of the perpetrator, prompting a full investigation by German authorities.

In the post on Facebook, Friedrich wrote “I’ve been offended in the past, sexually harassed and I’ve had a stalker before”.

“It’s time to act, it’s time to defend myself. And that’s what I’m doing.”

“No more and no less. I’m not willing to be a victim again. I’m simply tired and there simply comes a time when enough is enough.”

Friedrich, a former police officer, has full belief that the law will carry out justice on the crimes, however a lot of people are crying out that Friedrich has taken justice out of the hands of the government by taking to social networking.

In response to the condemnation, Friedrich responded in a statement, “The removal of anonymity is a means to clarify. Just think of all the children, young people and adults who are secretly harassed by perverts and don’t know what to do or how to defend themselves. Should we not go forward as a good example and demonstrate strength?”

The 28 year old German Olympian won the bronze medal at The World Championships and represented her country in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, placing 7th in the high jump. Although plagued with injury with the majority of the 2011 season, the 5-time German Champion hopes to represent her country well in the 2012 London Olympics.
