Jennifer Lawrence Channels Cher In Spot-on Impersonation With ‘Mockingjay — Part 2’ Co-Star Josh Hutcherson On Conan

Jennifer Lawrence could not be any more adorable and fun. Who wouldn’t want to be her BFF?

In a hilarious bit with Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutchinson on Conan O’Brien Thursday, Jennifer Lawrence channeled Cher in a spot-on impersonation of the 69-year-old fan favorite.

The stars were on hand to promote their latest Hunger Games film, Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

As reported by People magazine, Hemsworth, Hutchinson, and Conan O’Brien were chatting up the success of Jennifer Lawrence singing in Mockingjay – Part 1. The song, “The Hanging Tree,” topped the charts.

Lawrence pretended to play it cool, then admitted that she sometimes does enjoy breaking out in song. Liam Hemsworth let the audience in on a little-known fact about the Jennifer.

“She likes to sing on occasion.”

Right on cue, Josh Hutcherson, 22, goaded the Oscar-winner into the impressive rendition of Cher’s “Believe.”

What came next was impressive indeed. J-Law not only sang the song, she brought it, using hand motions and passionate facial expressions.

Hutcherson helped his 24-year-old co-star out by singing back up to Cher’s 1998 hit.

The audience cheered as Lawrence belted the familiar lyrics.

“I can feel something inside me say, I really don’t think you’re strong enough, now.”

Jennifer Lawrence, who’s appearance with her Hunger Games castmates was part of San Diego Comic-Con, looked drop-dead gorgeous in a v-neck black dress, dressed up with emerald earrings and her long blonde, wavy hair cascading across her shoulders.

Earlier in the day, Jennifer Lawrence met Bill Murray for the first time, a life-long dream for the actress.

“I and the rest of the world have been a huge fan of Bill Murray for a really long time and always wanted to meet him.”

Lawrence admitted to reporters that she used her friendship with co-star Woody Harrelson to try to get an in with Murray.

“I kind of spoke to him through Woody Harrelson. I would send emails to Woody, mostly when I was drunk, of things I always wanted to say to Bill Murray. So he received them. So just the fact that Bill Murray knows that I exist was part one. Part two, he wanted to speak to me. And he like, mentioned something about us working together, I don’t know! I’m excited about that, that was cool.”
