Stassi Schroeder Stays Silent On Katie Maloney & Tom Schwartz’ ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season Four Engagement

Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney used to be the best of friends, but sadly, they appear to be completely estranged. On Tuesday, July 7, Maloney and her longtime boyfriend, Tom Schwartz, became engaged, and, along with the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast, announced the news on Twitter.

Meanwhile, instead of offering a congratulatory tweet to her co-star and former best friend, Stassi Schroeder took to Twitter, where she joked about her possible future on The Real Housewives.

When Vanderpump Rules began, Stassi Schroeder and Maloney were in a close-knit group with Kristen Doute, and the three women often precluded their fellow co-star, Scheana Marie Shay. However, as the show continued, relationships evolved, and as Doute and Maloney grew close to Marie, their relationships with Stassi Schroeder came to an end.

Although Maloney did her best to reconcile her friendship with Stassi Schroeder during Season 3, Schroeder chose to cut ties with her after she traveled to Miami with Marie, and failed to let her know in advance. In her Bravo blog, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Maloney opened up about her longtime friend’s decision to cut her out of her life.

“Imagine how insulting and frustrating it was for me to have my best friend be so unreasonably unsupportive and selfish about MY decision. Especially when I have been so supportive of her.”

Maloney went on to admit that while she and Marie didn’t get along in the past, there was no point in holding a grudge against her, especially since she was a close friend of her now-fiancé.

“I don’t want enemies and animosity in my life either. It’s debilitating and such a waste of energy. Part of growing up is learning from mistakes and moving on. From there you can compartmentalize the things and people in your life. I don’t know where Stassi gets the impression that I can’t maintain the integrity of our friendship while getting along with everyone else. I thought after all these years and my unwavering loyalty and support that she wouldn’t even think twice.”

Stassi Schroeder will not be seen on the upcoming fourth season of Vanderpump Rules. Although many reports have claimed she was fired from the show after appearing for three seasons, she denied it on her Podcast series, Straight Up With Stassi.
