The Four Horsewomen of WWE NXT have arguably revolutionized women’s wrestling. Charlotte, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch bring their own style to the ring, which is why they continue to bring change into the industry. Their success doesn’t stop at one match. Each woman continuously wrestles with grace, athleticism, and precision.
Now, the only thing left to do for each of them is to make it to the WWE’s main roster. In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, Charlotte and Sasha Banks are rumored to move up and debut at WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. The dynamic duo will team with Paige against Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, and Alicia Fox.
WWE fans consistently beg, via social media, to bring the entire Four Horsewomen group to the main roster at the same time. It will be similar to the Nexus invasion angle years ago, but with the Divas division. Even though it might not happen the way WWE fans want it to, the women are finally in the spotlight.
Even though their reported debut might take place at SummerSlam, it was supposed to happen earlier. According to Ringside News and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the debut of Sasha Banks and Charlotte could’ve occurred this past episode WWE RAW.
Those plans were eventually changed. This isn’t the first time that the NXT women have been called off from making their main roster arrival. One would think it’ll eventually happen given the storyline.”
There is a lot of new developments in WWE NXT with the women’s division. Last night on WWE NXT, Charlotte challenged Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s championship. If the SummerSlam report is true about both women, that will likely be their swan song on the program. The former-WWE NXT Women’s champion is still engulfed in a feud with Dana Brooke and Emma.
As for Banks, she’ll end up having a rematch with Becky Lynch for the championship by the NXT Takeover event at the Barclays Center. It’s going to take place the night before SummerSlam on August 22. If Banks does lose to Lynch, then the SummerSlam rumor has a great chance of being true.
Unfortunately, Bayley won’t be taking part in the invasion, at least not at first. She confirmed on WWE NXT last night that her hand is broken. Bayley will return to WWE programming soon, but the focus is on the Four Horsewomen as a whole, and they’re about to make a statement on the main roster very soon.
