Teresa Giudice’s ‘RHONJ’ Salary: 25 Percent Will Go To Feds

Teresa Giudice has been forced to handover 25 percent of her future Real Housewives of New Jersey earnings to the federal government. On July 9, Radar Online obtained court documents, which confirm a portion of Giudice’s Bravo salary will be put towards her outstanding restitution.

According to the site, the court documents read as follows.

“It is hereby agreed that defendant, Teresa Giudice consents to the following: Sirens Media (producer of RHONJ), Garnishee, shall withhold 25% of any monies held on behalf of, or payable to Teresa Giudice, and pay the sum to the plaintiff… Funds should be made payable by check to, U.S. Treasury, Ref4 13-495 and sent to, United States District Court, Attn: Financial Section, 402 East State St, Trenton, NJ 08608.”

Teresa Giudice is currently incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, where she will remain until late this year. Prior to her prison term, Teresa Giudice, along with husband Joe, pleaded guilty to charges of bank and wire fraud. In addition to their both receiving jail time (Joe was dealt a 41-month term, while Giudice got 15 months), the reality couple was faced with a big restitution bill.

Although Teresa Giudice and her husband have already paid a portion of their debt, Radar Online claimed they still owed the government $214,588.90.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teresa Giudice’s husband recently began filming a reality show with his four daughters. The show, according to a Real Mr. Housewife report, will follow Joe and the girls as they navigate through life without Giudice.

“[Joe Giudice] has signed a deal for a show. It will be very short and only a few episodes. Think of it as a check in to see how he is handling the girls a single parent.”

While Teresa Giudice was said to be happy that her husband would be taking care of their family, and their bills, while she remained behind bars, the site’s source claimed she was a bit worried about what the show could expose.

Last month, Radar Online alleged Joe Giudice only agreed to do the show in order to continue paying off his debt and support his family.

“The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in. With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents.”

Teresa Giudice will be released from prison on December 23.
