It isn’t just the men’s division that is trying to get over injuries, but now the WWE Women’s division has two-top talents that are currently hurt. Last week on WWE NXT, Becky Lynch told the WWE Universe that she sustained a hip flexor injury within the last few weeks. As of now, Lynch is still on the shelf and will probably come back at WWE NXT’s next set of tapings.
As for the other female in WWE, she’s quite the superstar on the main roster. Nikki Bella, the current-WWE Divas champion, also succumbed to injury recently. How long will she be out for, and what’s the status of Becky Lynch and her recovery process?
According to E-Wrestling News, one WWE Diva is working hurt , while the other is very close to returning to the ring.
“ Becky Lynch is out of action for a few weeks due to a hip flexor injury that she suffered during her NXT Takeover match with Sasha Banks . Lynch had continued to work through the injury, however she is now taking some time off to recover.
Nikki Bella is currently working with a partially separated shoulder. There is currently no word as to whether or not the injury is something that will eventually require her to take time off or not.”
Credit deserves to go to Nikki Bella, who is now proving she is tough enough to lead the WWE Divas division. Working with a separated shoulder can lead to permanent damage inside the shoulder, which could detriment her WWE career. While there is no work on her injury specifically, WWE will have to get her shoulder repaired soon.
Even WWE stars like John Cena can’t wrestle with injuries for an extended period of time, no matter how tough they are. In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, Charlotte and Sasha Banks are rumored to come to the WWE main roster and help Paige fight the Bella Army at SummerSlam .
SummerSlam takes place on August 23. If Nikki Bella is able to hold off until then, she could drop the Divas championship and get her shoulder fixed. When Banks and Charlotte to come up, that would insinuate that Becky Lynch will win the WWE NXT Women’s championship before her promotion.
Luckily, a hip flexor isn’t a serious injury, and she’ll back on WWE NXT in a few weeks. In just a month and a half, a lot will take place in the WWE’s Women’s division. The WWE Universe hasn’t stopped clamoring for the NXT women to debut on the main roster. They’re about to get exactly what they want.
