Kourtney Kardashian: ‘Scott’s Children Will Be Much Better Off’ Without Disick In Their Lives

By now, the story is well known: Kourtney Kardashian has broken up with long-time boyfriend Scott Disick after Disick was seen cavorting with celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli in Monaco. It didn’t take long for photos of Scott allegedly cheating on Kourtney to surface online, and it took even less time for Kourtney Kardashian to dump Scott and change the locks.

But what about Kourtney’s three children with Scott? How has this whole drama affected them?

According to a source close to Kourtney Kardashian, the breakup really hasn’t affected her children too much. In fact, the source said that Mason, who is five years old, is the only one of the three children who really knows what is going on. Penelope will turn three years old on Wednesday, and Reign is only six months old.

The source said that, for the most part, life will continue as normal, since Scott hasn’t exactly been present in the lives of Kourtney’s children, anyway. RadarOnline reports:

“…There is not too much to miss when he was never really there to begin with. Kourtney has told those close to her that her and Scott’s children will be much better off with her.”

By and large, the Kardashian clan has been supportive of Courtney’s decision to move forward without Scott in their lives, the celebrity website reports.

“Pretty much everyone agrees with this decision. Those kids are going to be raised with a lot of love from Kourtney’s sisters, as well as Caitlyn and Kris.”

Brody Jenner also has been supportive of Kourtney Kardashian’s decision to remove Disick from their lives, though he was a bit more reserved when asked about the situation. Jenner called the breakup “unfortunate,” saying he knew from the moment that he saw the photos that it was a bad deal.

“Scott and Kourtney both are great. You know, obviously Scott’s gone through some issues in the past. He’s worked through them but… Honestly, when I saw those pictures, I just went, ‘Uh-oh.’ I even showed my girlfriend, I just went, ‘This isn’t good.'”

The entire Kardashian-Disick situation has been covered extensively by the celebrity media, and it doesn’t seem as if it will be resolved anytime soon. Kourtney has made one thing obvious, though: Despite the fact that she doesn’t want Disick in her household, she still expects Penelope’s father to reach out to his daughter on her birthday. At least, that’s what Hollywood Life reports.

“If he’s a no-call, no-show on Penelope’s special day, Kourtney (Kardashian) will make sure there are consequences,” a source told the website.
