Rita Ora Reveals The Real Reason For Her Exit From ‘The Voice’ And Possible Replacement

Rita Ora has finally spilled the beans over the reason why she left The Voice after acting as a coach in the show for only one season.

As Contact Music reported, Rita Ora spoke during the O2 Silver Clef Awards and said that her leaving had nothing to do with the co-judges of the show. Instead, Rita Ora blamed her conflicting schedules as to be the reason for leaving The Voice.

Rita Ora, 24, added that her “experience in the show was surreal” and that her leaving “had nothing to do with any of the coaches personally.”

The “Poison” star is said to begin her journey as the new judge of The X-Factor.

BBC News reported that Rita Ora’s former co-star and one of the judges at The Voice, Tom Jones, said that he “had a feeling” Rita Ora would leave the show.

“I saw the look on her face when she didn’t have anyone in the final. When you’re a coach you take it to heart.”

He added that he “talked to her at length and tried consoling her as she was very upset.”

Tom Jones felt that it would be a “big chair to fill” for anyone who tries to take Rita Ora’s place as a new coach.

New! Magazine reported that Rita Ora, on the other hand, seems to be happy with her decision to leave The Voice for its rival show The X-Factor.

“I can’t wait to get started on The X-Factor. You’ll have to watch it, it’s going to be great. It’s going to be fun. The one important thing is that we find talent and have fun.”

Rita Ora is said to share her role as The X-Factor judge with newcomer Nick Grimshaw and old timers Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

Radio Times reported that the real question was who will be the best replacement for Rita Ora in the next season of the BBC’s hit show The Voice. The show’s creators are said to be on the lookout for the coach who would be a perfect replacement for Rita Ora, and it is rumored that there are quite a few names on the shortlist.

Tom Jones said that it was up to the BBC to rope in a girl “to be with three fellas on the show” and hoped that they would get “somebody who can handle it with a fresh face.”

Will.I.Am, another returning judge on The Voice, is said to be keen on snaring former The X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger for the show. According to Radio Times, other contenders include Mel C, Joss Stone, and rapper Professor Green.
