Pippa Middleton almost stole the christening fashion show, but Duchess Kate Middleton, Prince George, and of course, the newest royal baby, Princess Charlotte, were hot on Pippa’s sky-high heels. When it came to Pippa and Kate, however, they almost looked like twins in their matching frocks and designer hats, reported People.

The Middleton sisters headed up the unofficial Most Fashionable Christening Ceremony Attire winners list, with their ultra-chic Jane Taylor hats. Pippa chose an Emilia Wickstead dress, while Duchess Kate went with famed designer Alexander McQueen.

And then there were the wee ones. Only 2-months-old, tiny Charlotte wore a soft ivory christening gown, while little Prince George looked like a mini-me of papa Prince William, in red and white.

As for Pippa’s and Kate’s decisions to wear Jane Taylor hats? The Middleton sisters’ christening fashion made the designer proud, Jane told Us Weekly.

“Pippa Middleton is the epitome of elegance and style,” praised Taylor. “And I could not be more honored to see her wearing one of my designs so beautifully today at such a significant royal occasion.”

The christening also drew Pippa’s and Kate’s parents, Carol and Michael, as well as their brother, James. Royalty in attendance included Charlotte’s great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, great-grandfather Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip, grandfather Prince of Wales Prince Charles, and step-grandmother Duchess of Cornwall Camilla.

Pippa’s fashion sense, however, seemed to draw much of the attention from the media. She may not be the Middleton who married royalty, but Pippa’s presence at the christening was notable.

In addition, Kate’s younger sister recently participated in events to help the British Heart Foundation. She cycled off the calories in London’s Brighton Bike Ride on June 21. In addition, Pippa helped bring in money for the foundation by joining Tabitha Webb, a fashion designer based in London, to craft two adorable pieces.

But no one neglected Prince George, who took the attention away from auntie Pippa when he adorably decided it was time to check on his little sister and took a peek into Princess Charlotte’s baby carriage.

The little boy received a pat on the head and grin from Kate, with a firm grasp of his hand from Prince William.

As the Inquisitr reported, when Princess Charlotte was born, the bets were on that Pippa Middleton would become her godparent at the christening.

However, Duchess Kate and Prince William chose three old, dear friends and a cousin to be godparents, according to CNN.
