‘Ant-Man’ Post-Credits Sequences Revealed, You’ll Be Overjoyed With Who Features [Spoilers]

The first reviews for Ant-Man have been released, and while critics have heaped praise on the blockbuster, the biggest news regarding the film is its post-credits scenes.

That’s right: plural. There are two post-credits Ant-Man sequences, and rumor has it that they allude massively to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel are clearly quite confident in Ant-Man, because after the screening they encouraged those in attendance to tweet their initial reactions. This also included references to the credits sequences.

Now, there are quite obviously SPOILERS ahead. So if you want to watch Ant-Man void of any such revelations then you probably shouldn’t read ahead.

Are they gone? Good. So it turns out that Ant-Man features the first reference to Spider-Man’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You can check out the initial responses to Ant-Man teasing Spider-Man’s debut as well as the film’s credits sequences below.

According to Whatever A Spider Can, the references to Spider-Man and Peter Parker see the characters talking about the Web Slinger as well as OsCorp.

For those of you who want to specifically know who features in these post-credit sequences you can read below.

According to Heroic Hollywood, in the first mid-credits scene we see Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym giving the WASP costume to Evangeline Lily’s Hope Van Dyne before he then explains what happened to Hope’s mother.

The final sequence see Captain America, The Falcon, and The Winter Soldier in a secret location. The Winter Soldier is tied up, and after the Falcon asks Captain America if he should call Tony Stark/Iron Man, Captain America says, “No.” This then leads Anthony Mackie’s Falcon to imply that he’s going to call Ant-Man. This is because Falcon appears in a few of Ant-Man’s scenes.
