Kim Kardashian’s Family Warns About Dating Kanye West

With Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in a romantic relationship, which some in Hollywood have called a “fling-ette,” the Kardashian clan are telling Kim to “take it slow.”

The Sun Times reports that an expert on the clan says that Kris Jenner, Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim’s mother all think she should be careful about rushing into a relationship, regardless of whether or not it’s with Kanye. The source claims that the family is “just concerned.”

It’s important to note that the Kardashians are fans of Kanye West and believe that the advice they’re offering Kim “would apply to anyone she’d be dating now,” according to the source.

West is reported to have been a longtime admirer that is truly infatuated with Kim and she is reportedly inclined to date a star who is “not just another pro athlete,” as the Kardashian clan insider put it.

All of the recent family advice comes after Kim’s 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries received what the source called, “so much flak.” The marriage began in August of 2011 and ended in October of 2011 after Kim filed for divorce.

Prior to her career as reality television star, Kimberly Noel Kardashian was the subject of a notorious sex tape that subsequently resulted in her being awarded $5 million in a court ruling in the socialite’s favor. In 2010, Kim was the highest earning reality star with an estimated earnings of $6 million.

Kanye himself is certainly no newcomer to the limelight as the rap musician is almost constantly in the public spectacle with his often ridiculous antics which seem to breathe life into the rap scene. He recently released a hit single Theraflu, a song in which he disrespects PETA with the following line:

“Tell PETA, my mink is draggin’ on the floor.”
