‘Batman Arkham Knight’ PC Problems Causes Game To Be Pulled
Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment has pulled the PC version of the game Batman Arkham Knight off the shelves. The reason for this action is due to game performance and quality issues. Warner Bros. published a statement about Batman Arkham Knight on their online community website for the video game.
“We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall.”
Problems being experienced with the PC version of Batman Arkham Knight include crashing, stuttering graphics, and variable framerates for animation.
People who have already purchased the PC version are understandably not happy.

Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment released settings changes that would help PC gamers get the game to function better.
- Resolution: 1280×720
- V-Sync: Off
- Anti-Aliasing: Off
- Texture Resolution: Low
- Shadow Quality: Low
- Level of Detail: Low
- Interactive Smoke/Fog: Off
- Interactive Paper Debris: Off
- Enhanced Rain: Off
- Enhanced Light Shafts: Off
Warner Bros. also stated that gamers would need to keep the resolution low in order to avoid major issues with game performance.
Batman Arkham Knight was originally scheduled to be released last October. The game developer, Rocksteady Studios, claimed that they would not be ready for an October release and needed more time. With the slew of PC problems, Rocksteady was not ready for a June 2015 release either.
Currently, no date has been set for a re-release of the PC version of Batman Arkham Knight. What are your thoughts on this video game disaster? Will this problem turn you off from buying future PC versions of video games?
