Teresa Giudice’s Husband Joe Forced To Film Spinoff With Daughters? ‘There Was No Money Coming In’

Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe has just begun filming his own spinoff.

As he and the couple’s daughters await the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s release from prison, they will chronicle their upcoming journey with Bravo fans. Unfortunately, however, their decision to return to the spotlight wasn’t completely theirs.

On June 24, a source revealed the following to Radar Online:

“The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in. With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents.”

Although Teresa Giudice’s husband may have signed a deal with Bravo in an effort to provide for their family, as opposed to doing so simply to allow fans access to the moments leading up to Giudice’s release, fans can expect the longtime reality star to be completely candid, as he has in the past.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teresa Giudice’s husband’s spinoff will air in the form of a one-hour special. On June 23, a source spoke to Us Weekly, revealing Joe and the girls, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5, recently began filming.

In the report, a source revealed Teresa Giudice’s husband had been in negotiations for the spinoff for months, and while it will likely be aired in a one-hour special, more episodes could follow. In the meantime, Teresa Giudice’s husband remains as the girls’ sole provider, as he has been since she entered prison on January 5.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Teresa Giudice’s husband explained his day-to-day activity.

“Days go by quick. They go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who’s gotta go here? Who’s gotta go there?…They have their little breakdowns here and there. They’ll say, ‘Daddy, when’s she going to be out?’ Or ‘I miss Mommy.’ I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses.”

Last year, around this time, Giudice and her husband pleaded guilty to charges of bank and wire fraud, garnering them each time behind bars. However, while the Real Housewives of New Jersey star received 15 months, Teresa Giudice’s husband was dealt a 41-month sentence. During their hearing, a judge on their case allowed them to serve staggered sentences, meaning Joe would begin his term once Giudice’s was complete.

No word yet on when Teresa Giudice’s husband’s special will air.
