Heather Dubrow To Fans: ‘If You Don’t Like Me Talking About Money, Fast Forward’ [Video]

Heather Dubrow has some advice for Real Housewives of Orange County fans who are tired of hearing about the star’s finances — just fast forward.

The RHOC star offered up her harsh message while appearing on the June 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, when a viewer questioned why Heather seems to be talking about money so much on the show this season. According to Dubrow, it is not intentional that fans see her and husband Terry talk finances so much — it is just reality.

“It’s because we’re working on the house. And here’s the bottom line. Look, we’re on this reality show and if you notice, I don’t go up to Tamra and go, ‘Hey, guess how much money I spent on a sink,’ but when you see these interviews that we do, it’s supposed to be what’s going on in our brain. If you see me talking to my husband, that’s my reality. You’re getting to peek at it and get into the world. That’s what we’re talking about. I’m sorry. If you don’t like it, fast forward through that part.”

The fan’s questioning Heather Dubrow’s seemingly nonstop talk of the amount of money being spent to build their new 22,000 square foot home comes after the airing of Monday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County, in which, once again, the topic of how much the RHOC star is overspending on the house comes up. During her “bubbly wine” launch, Heather informs her husband that the couple are $135,000 over their $450,000 to $500,000 cabinet budget, to which Terry Dubrow has a simple solution. The overage with the cabinets will just come out of his $1 million movie theater budget.

“I was hoping to save the overages for the movie theater, which could go up to a million. It is what it is.”

Although Heather Dubrow does not feel that talking so much about money is a big deal, some of the other Orange County Housewives, at some point, could disagree with her. As fans may recall, Alexis Bellino was taken to task multiple times by several of her cast mates during her last season on the show for her what her co-stars dubbed “pretentious” behavior, stemming from Bellino’s frequent talk of money.

During her guest appearance with Andy, Heather Dubrow also put Star magazine on blast for publishing a story accusing the reality star of having her “eight-year-old” daughter’s legs waxed. As the Inquisitr previously reported, after Heather and Terry took to Twitter to call out the gossip mag, Star removed the story from its website, but Dubrow wants more than that.

“First of all, my daughter is twelve, not eight. Second of all, it is unconscionable and across the line to take kids and put them in these situations. I’m sorry, they have just really — it’s the lowest of the low and I really do expect a retraction and an apology from Star magazine.”
