Lindsay Arnold Married: ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Gal Weds Long-Time Love In Utah
Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance star Lindsay Arnold married Sam Cusick Thursday, and her fans are thrilled to hear the news. Lindsay and Sam have been together for some time now, and they made it official in her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah.
As many would expect, Lindsay Arnold got married with many fellow Dancing with the Stars personalities there to join in on the fun. According to Us Weekly, her bestie Witney Carson was part of the bridal party, as was Emma Slater. Jenna Johnson, Brittany Cherry, and Brooklyn Fullmer, who all have also done So You Think You Can Dance and are involved with DWTS, were standing up with her too.
Lindsay says she’s loved Sam since she was 16, and now she’s excited that she gets to spend the rest of her life with him. Arnold announced her engagement via Instagram back in December 2014. She had been on a trip with Cusick in Africa when he popped the question. Her bestie Witney Carson, who was partnered with Bachelor Chris Soules this past season, shared the news on her own social media at the time as well.
Reports indicate that Lindsay Arnold married Sam Cusick in a vintage chic lace sleeveless dress. They shared a sit-down dinner with guests then danced the night away with 400 guests. The 21-year-old seemingly had a dream day from start to finish surrounded by family, friends, and plenty of buds from SYTYCD and DWTS.
Many remember Arnold from Season 9 of So You Think You Can Dance. She was eliminated in eighth place, but not long after that headed over to Dancing with the Stars. Lindsay scored a spot as a professional right away, joining Season 16 to partner with Victor Ortiz.
Victor and Lindsay had a bit of a rough run at it on DWTS, and they were eliminated in eighth place. Since then, Arnold has been a troupe member on the show, and she frequently joins the couples in trio performances or other pieces that have additional dancers in the mix.
The Dancing with the Stars dancer seemingly hasn’t shared any wedding photos yet herself, but the show’s Instagram page did share a somewhat blurry photo. Lindsay and Sam look thrilled, and she made a truly gorgeous bride. Surely more photos will be shared soon, and fans can’t wait to see the joy from the event where Lindsay Arnold married Sam Cusick.
