‘Teen Wolf’: Season 5 Premiere Sneak Peek, Plus Trying To ‘Keep The Pack Together’

The Teen Wolf season 5 premiere is only a couple weeks away, and not only has MTV released an extended sneak peek at the first episode – and it’s a crazy sequence – but there are also a few new teases out about what else to expect this summer.

According to Just Jared, Holland Roden (Lydia) has revealed that a familiar face from the past will be showing up in the Teen Wolf premiere.

“As far as actors coming back, there’s always so many different forms which they can come back, but that’s all I’ll say,” she teased.

However, if you have already watched the first six minutes of the premiere – which you can do so below, in case you have not had that chance – you will see who is returning, as well as why Roden said what she did about character returns and “many different forms.”

The premiere sneak peek goes into Eichen House – and shows that Lydia is now one of its patients. Not only that, but she’s also in some sort of catatonic state, one that at least one orderly thinks is just an act. However, the blank look on her face in the shower as she is led down the hall and as another orderly sticks her with a needle suggest that she is not faking it.

Don’t worry, Lydia isn’t in that state for long. In fact, when she does make a move, it’s a scream, and then an escape that shows that in whatever time has passed since the end of Season 4 – that has yet to be revealed – she has seemingly gotten a handle on her Banshee powers. When she reaches the steps outside Eichen House, she stops when she sees Aiden, and he tells her that her treatment isn’t done yet.

“Please, I have to tell them,” she pleads as she loses her chance at escaping. “They’re all going to die. My friends, they’re all going to die.”

Also coming up in Season 5 of Teen Wolf, the pack will be dealing with senior year of high school, which Tyler Posey told E! Online is “a huge, huge thing for Scott.”

“Senior year for Scott is huge because high school is very much its own character in the show, it’s big for Stiles and Scott. Stiles and Scott are really trying to keep the group together and they are talking about where they are going to go to college and planning where they are going to live … I think for Stiles and Scott, they just really want to keep the pack together.”

Teen Wolf Season 5 premieres across two nights, Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30.
