Lil Wayne, Christina Milian Collab ‘Do It,’ Four Pre #FWA Tracks

Lil Wayne has been throwing fans a bone over the month of June with tracks released on June 3 and June 6 — and now two more songs have emerged on June 13. Plus, Lil Wayne is getting ready to do collaborations with Christina Milian. Are these signs that #FWA will be released soon?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lil Wayne has been working on being the new co-owner of Tidal — and there is a chance he will follow Jay Z’s lead by releasing new music exclusively on Tidal.

While fans are still awaiting the long-anticipated #FWA (Free Weezy Album), they can enjoy four newly released tracks by Lil Wayne — and can look forward to his upcoming collaboration with Christina Milian.

June releases so far from Lil Wayne include “Glory,” “You Mad Yet,” “Off the Rip,” and “Hot Boy.” Will Lil Wayne release another in June? If we can believe Christina Milian’s timeline — the answer is yes.

XXL Magazine reviewed Lil Wayne’s two new tracks that include French Montana and Bankroll Fresh. About the remixes “Off the Rip” and “Hot Boy” music writer C. Vernon Coleman states the following.

“[Lil Wayne] hops on French Montana’s “Off the Rip” and adds some heat to Bankroll Fresh’s “Hot Boy” still sounding hungry as he rips through each 16. These are off DJ Stevie J’s new 38-track mixtape, Appreciation 8 and follow last week’s Tidal release “Glory.””

The Music Times fills in the gaps about “Off the Rip” and “Hot Boy” and says that the Lil Wayne tracks will not be on #FWA. Instead, they claim “both tracks will be featured on a mixtape coming from DJ Stevie J (which will also feature Fetty Wap, Dej Loaf and Meek Mill).”

What about Lil Wayne’s future music? So far, it has been suggested that Lil Wayne and Christina Milian may have a collaboration in their future. The Daily Mail did an interview with Christina Milian where she gave details about Lil Wayne.

They point out that this will be Christina Milian’s “first record in nearly a decade” — and Lil Wayne is happy to help her with this project.

The Daily Mail reports, “The Emmy winner’s boyfriend/Young Money boss, Lil Wayne, will rap on her upcoming track, ‘Do It.'”

Vibe stated in May that Christina Milian will release “Do It” with Lil Wayne (along with other tracks that will be an EP) in June. Currently, as of mid-June, Christina Milian and Lil Wayne have reported no new about the release date for “Do It.”
