Can you imagine coming face to face with your favorite heroes while experiencing Jurassic Park and Star Wars in virtual reality?
Plans are already afoot for the V.R. adventure of a lifetime. This is particularly exciting news for fans of the popular Star Wars sci-fi movies.
It seems that as technology advances, Star Wars always comes to mind. First, it happened in the gaming arcades and the pinball machines, and now we get the opportunity to see Star Wars in virtual reality, see R2D2 face to face, and really experience the lightsaber action in person.

Many are skeptical that it could happen, but it seems plans are already on track and getting close to offering the virtual reality experience fans will love.
With the advent of a whole new range of Star Wars movies on the horizon, Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic, and Skywalker Sound have formed ILM Experience Lab, or ILMxLab for short, to really make fans happy.
ILMxLab is soon to offer all the wonders of Star Wars in virtual reality, and progress is already underway.
ILMxLab’s creative director told USA Today, “What we’re aiming for is to open the two-dimensional world of the movies and allow fans to walk into those worlds with the same visual fidelity.”

The company has revealed that later this year it will be revealing some Star Wars-based experiences in time to coincide with the release of The Force Awakens.
Although they are also getting involved in other projects, such as the terrifying vision of Jurassic Park in V.R. (imagine the thrill of getting face to face with a monstrous dinosaur!), Star Wars is apparently top of their list of projects. However, as matters progress, this group of experts is planning on bringing the world of virtual reality to the whole movie scene.
Progress has already been made with Star Wars in virtual reality as can be seen and enjoyed in the video they have released, included above.
Whatever you can imagine experiencing from the popular world of Star Wars in virtual reality, whether fighting with a light saber in your own hand or seeing R2D2 up close and personal, your wish is apparently their desire.
Readers, let us know which scenes you would personally like to experience in either the Star Wars or Jurassic World movies in the comment section below.
