WWE Rumors: Tyson Kidd To Miss Over A Year Of Action With Broken Neck?

There’s a reason why WWE says to not try this at home. It’s extremely dangerous, and one bad move by a wrestler can cripple his or her opponent. Now, they are professionally-trained athletes that never intentionally hurt anyone. If that claim is used, it’s erroneous. To concentrate on the injuries, the WWE hasn’t been lucky in the past two months.

Hideo Itami and Sami Zayn both sustained shoulder injuries within weeks of each other. Itami is going to be out another 5-7 months. As for Zayn, he’s scheduled to return in October. Those are both WWE NXT superstars. Luckily, the WWE main roster has continued to be lucky with injuries, aside from the last month. Rusev fractured his ankle, and Tyson Kidd suffered a spinal cord injury against Samoa Joe.

The reason Kidd’s injury is featured more is due to its potential severity. Anything involving the spinal cord of any athlete, or person, isn’t a good situation. A rumor that is now circulating the Internet Wrestling Community involved Kidd in an extremely unfortunate situation.

According to SeScoops.com, Tyson Kidd’s spinal cord injury could keep him out of action for over a year.

“The latest update is that he might need to undergo surgery, which would keep him out of action for a year or more.

Since the recent concussion lawsuits, WWE has been very secretive on releasing detailed injury information.”

Another rumor that is going around is that the former-WWE Tag-Team champion suffered a broken neck. Those two words are synonymous with career-threatening, just like a concussion is. Unfortunately, the WWE is familiar with WWE superstars suffering broken necks. Two high-profiled wrestlers that have are Edge and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Both WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers reached out to Tyson Kidd to offer support and advice on what to do. WWE Officials are being very secretive with this issue, because they don’t want a false story to get out. This is why the length of time Tyson Kidd will be out is only a rumor for now, so take it as just that.

Kidd is one of the WWE’s best wrestlers and has gained major popularity in the past year. His tag-team with Cesaro garnered much respect from WWE fans and peers. They were arguably the best WWE tag-team in the company for the last year and a half. This isn’t Tyson Kidd’s introduction to injuries, as he nursed a bad knee injury a few years ago. Hopefully, Tyson Kidd makes a full recovery soon.
