Randy Rogers’ Daughter Dies: Country Star Faces Heartbreak After His Newborn Daughter Dies
Randy Rogers’ daughter died just days after she was born. According to E! News, baby Rumer Rain was born on June 3, and she died just six days later from “natural causes.”
The following message was posted on Randy’s Facebook page after the heartbreaking loss.
“Rumer Rain Rogers, daughter of Randy and Chelsea Rogers, passed away last night at Seton Memorial Hospital in Austin, Texas. Rumer died of natural causes, in her parents loving arms, just days after her birth. During this time of grieving, the family asks that individuals wishing to offer condolences make a donation to the children’s charity of their choosing. The family thanks you for your love and support.”
News that Randy Rogers’ daughter died hit the internet on June 10. Thousands of people have sent their condolences to the family, all of whom are understandably lost for words at this time.

Rogers released a statement to a radio station in Houston, Texas, after the passing of his daughter, and explained a bit about what happened. According to Fox News, Rumer was diagnosed with a rare condition that ended up taking her life. The family will be sharing additional details at a later time.
“She died in our arms and in no pain. She was absolutely beautiful in every way. Her brain however was very sick. She died after a week-long battle with a very rare condition. I’m sure you all have many questions and we have all the answers the doctors gave us. We can share the story with you. It’s quite an extraordinary one. A memorial will be planned soon.”
The Randy Rogers band has canceled at least one show in the wake of this tragedy. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the band will be touring this summer.

Randy and Chelsea have another daughter, River, who was born in 2013, the same year that the couple was married.
