‘RHOC’ Vicki Gunvalson Says She And Tamra Judge Mended Their Friendship

Through their many seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County together, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge have gone through a lot of ups and downs. One season they’re best friends and the next they’re at each other’s throats. By the end of Season 9, Vicki and Tamra were distant due to Tamra’s dislike of Vicki’s boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, and unwillingness to accept him as part of Vicki’s life.

Yet it seems that viewers will see Vicki and Tamra making up, yet again. In her latest BravoTV blog post, posted on Monday, Vicki talked about where things stand with Tamra. When asked if she thinks that she and Tamra will be able to mend their friendship, Vicki said that they already have, a development that viewers will apparently see later on in the season. Vicki did admit, however, that Tamra can be mean to her sometimes.

“Yes, the viewers will see this year that we do mend our friendship. I love and care for Tamra and will always be there for her, as long as she is ‘nice’ to me.”

Monday night’s Season 10 premiere opened with Tamra missing her friendship with Vicki and saying that she feels like the odd person out. Later on in the episode, Vicki said that when she told Tamra about Brooks’ cancer, Tamra was sympathetic but then she never heard from her again.

During a car ride with Brooks, Vicki said that she doesn’t trust Tamra.

“I don’t really have a desire to spend a lot of time with Tamra…I don’t trust her with anything that’s personal…It’s really sad. I wanna be her friend. I wanna trust her. I like her and then all of a sudden I’ll be like, ‘Why would you say or do that?’ I don’t know how to handle that.”

Vicki Gunvalson added in her interview that she now knows that Tamra Judge lashed out at her because she was going through a lot in her own life, a reference Tamra’s child custody battle with ex-husband Simon Barney, but that is no excuse.

“Tamra and I were very off last year. I know that’s a cycle that she was in because she was hurt but to me hurt people shouldn’t hurt people. That’s when you bring your people closer to you, when you’re hurting. But I care for Tamra. I want the best for Tamra. I love Tamra. She’s like a sister to me. Sisters to me don’t fight like that, don’t hurt each other.”

In her own interview, Tamra sounded regretful over what happened between her and Vicki last season. She cried over Vicki not being at the baby shower that she threw for her son and his fiancee.

“Vicki and I are not on good terms. She hurt me really bad and I hurt her. But Brooks is dealing with cancer. I’m going to be a mother. These are the times that friends need to be together.”

Later on in this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, viewers may also see Tamra Judge stuck in the middle between Vicki Gunvalson and new cast member Meghan King Edmonds. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Meghan said in a recent interview that she wasn’t afraid of calling out Vicki’s faults but that she “hit it off” with Tamra right away.
