There appears to be no competition between Fifth Harmony and Little Mix. The popular girl groups have been compared for years since they made their debut in the U.S. and the UK. Now Fifth Harmony is setting the record straight when it comes to the comparison and those competition rumors.
The singers of Fifth Harmony recent spoke with the press to discuss those silly rumors that they’re competing with the girls of Little Mix. The interviewer asked the girls who would win in a girl fight: Fifth Harmony or Little Mix?
Normani Kordei replied: “There’s room for both of us.”
Lauren Jauregui added in: “That is literally what we preach. People try to make it out to be girls against girls but both of us are about girl power and empowering women to stick up for each other and support each other.”
As for their own favorite girl groups, the singers said they look up to the Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child and TLC.
That settles that then. Fifth Harmony also discussed those pesky One Direction rumors. You can find out the details in the video at the Stupid Famous People (courtesy of Splash News) channel via YouTube.
Fifth Harmony and Little Mix are also joining forces to teach their fans the dance moves to their hot new singles. As you probably know, Little Mix released their new single “Black Magic” while Fifth Harmony’s “Work It” has been steaming up the music charts.
Little Mix revealed to Capital FM how their fans can master the hot dance moves from their new “Black Magic” dance routine.
5H also showed fans how they can learn those sassy moves from the hot “Worth It” music video.
Everyone’s fave girl groups recently got together for an all new photo shoot. See, there’s no bad blood here! The girls of Fifth Harmony posed with the girls of Little Mix in London, as previously reported via Twist Magazine. This photo shoot is going to set the internet on fire. You can feel the girl power coming through these photos. Fans are now holding out hope for a 5H/LM collaboration.
There’s no wonder why there’s so much comparison between the girl groups. Both Fifth Harmony and Little Mix were spawned by The X Factor franchise. Little Mix won X Factor UK in 2011 while Fifth Harmony became household names thanks to their appearance on The X Factor USA. The girls came in third place, but they went on to achieve success, including in the UK.
There’s really no comparison between the girl groups since 5H is more R&B and LM is more pop-sounding. Would you like to see Fifth Harmony and Little Mix collaborate on music?
