At this very moment, it seems that Park Shin Hye is everywhere pertaining to Korean entertainment. The female lead of The Heirs and Pinocchio is busy with her endorsements, Goodwill ambassador duties, or keeping up with regular appearances since she is one of the most popular K-drama stars today. Not just that, Park is trying to juggle a personal life too as she continues her endeavor to get married before thirty. Her significant other, however, needs to be a lot like her father.
Despite that fact, Park Shin Hye does have — like any other girl — a celebrity crush. Hers so happens to be Gong Yoo. So what is expected to happen when Park meets up with Gong? Apparently, Park Shin-hye turns into the ultimate fangirl.
According to DramaFever, Park Shin Hye was recently on set of Some Guys, Some Girls, an SBS K-variety show. In said episode, Park attended the house party of her friend, Chae Jung Ahn (Coffee Prince, Queen of Reversals), along with fellow female celebrities Kim Chae Yun (Nail Shop Paris) and Yoon So Yi (Iris II). The girl talk initially started formal but segued into Park’s cute fangirl crush on Gong Yoo.
Chae Jung Ahn was initially concerned that Park Shin Hye would grow up too fast when they first met when Park was just 21. Now, Chae admits her concerns were unnecessary because Park is doing fine just on her own. That, however, changed the day Chae invited Park to meet Gong Yoo.
“I invited her to a get together with Gong Yoo because she was his fan. I was surprised to see how her voice and expressions changed. It gave her a sexy look.”
Though Park Shin Hye expressed a more adult sensuality to Gong Yoo in Chae Jun Ahn’s view, that is not how Park saw it, as reported by KDrama Stars. Apparently, Park presented herself with a very “fresh face” on her initial meeting with Gong.
“I was laying down for bed after taking a shower when I received her call. I dashed out and met Gong Yoo with no makeup on and messy hair.”
So right away, Gong Yoo got to see the real Park Shin Hye. It isn’t reported what Gong’s first impression was. Whatever it is, Gong is sure to be one of the lucky few who have seen Park in such a natural state that only her admirers — such as The Royal Tailors co-star, Yoo Yeon Suk, and 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon — can only imagine.
