Sam Smith’s vocal chords are no longer bleeding, and his fans are no longer crying. Smith recently rescheduled his postponed tours in Australia, Europe, and North America.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Sam Smith is back on his feet and ready to take on the world again with his glorious singing voice, and the new dates for his Australian, European, and North American tours are already live on his website. Smith previously postponed his scheduled tours when he came out with the news of his hemorrhaged vocal cords last month. It has been a few quiet weeks, literally, for Sam Smith, as he recovers from his surgery.
He finally breaks his silence early this week and posted to Instagram the good news.
In another previous tweet by Sam Smith, he expressed his extreme excitement to start singing for everyone again. And true enough, as early as the good news about his surgery came out, the new dates for his rescheduled tours started sorting themselves out.
Smith was first struck down in April, during the first of his three dates in Sydney. It was after that performance that he decided to cancel the rest of his commitments across Australia, affecting the Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide regions. But Sam Smith is excited to announce that he is all set to perform for his Australian fans later this year.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports the new dates for Sam Smith’s rescheduled Australian tour below.
November 28 – Perth Arena
December 1 – Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
December 4 – Qantas Credit Union Arena, Sydney
December 8 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
December 12 – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
The pre-sale for the Sam Smith Australian tour will begin on June 11 via Frontiertouring.com/samsmith. The general on-sale, however, starts June 17 via ticketek.com.au.
The official Sam Smith website also has the dates for his European appearances. Sam will be performing across Europe throughout the month of July. Below are the calendar dates to mark for Sam Smith fans around Europe.
